Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC. Extremely attractive example of Babe Ruth from the 1928 Exhibits set. The key card to the 1928 Exhibit card set features Ruth in his classic follow-through swing. The blue-tinted card with a blank back was produced by the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago. The lower left corner has the printed notation “Geo. H. 'Babe” Ruth' – New York, A.L.” The card is bright and crisp with even corner wear, minor wear along the top edge, and a very light crease in from the left edge (more visible from the back). This is a very attractive example of this Exhibit card that would be a worthy addition to any Babe Ruth, Exhibit, or prewar-card collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
