Outstanding original uncut strip of five cards from the 1926 W512 strip-card set, highlighted by legendary Hall of Famer Babe Ruth. The popular W512 strip-card set consists of ten different Major Leaguers. This issue was originally sold in uncut sheets of twenty-five cards, which were intended to be cut apart by hand by youngsters. Surviving complete uncut strips are extremely rare! This uncut strip, of course, is all the more remarkable as it includes #6 Ruth. In addition to Ruth, this five-card strip features three additional Hall of Famers, #8 Frisch, 9 Hornsby, and 10 Vance. The one common player on the strip is #7 Scott. Encapsulated Authentic by SGC, the strip is bright and crisp, with vibrant colors, flawless registration, light wear on the corners (more so on the upper right), and clean blank reverse. The strip, which measures 7 by 2-1/4 inches, offers a superb opportunity to acquire an almost never seen uncut strip of W512s, highlighted by New York Yankees Hall of Famer Babe Ruth. Reserve $200.
