Collection of twelve different die-cuts, presented in a beautiful framed display, featuring New York Yankees players from the 1921-1930 M. L. Die-Cuts set, highlighted by seven Hall of Famers, including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. These die-cuts, which measure approximately 2.5 x 1.25 inches, were issued in conjunction with a board game called "Major League Ball - The Indoor Baseball Game Supreme" over a period of several years. Each die-cut features a generic player image along with an identifying last name, position, and team at the bottom. All twelve die-cuts in this collection are numbered at the base as well, which dates them to post-1925 according to the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards. This collection consists of the following: #1 Ruffing, 2 Shocker, 4 Koenig, 5 Pennock, 6 Collins, 7 Bengough, 8 Dugan, 9 Meusel, 10 Gehrig, 11 Lazzeri, 12 Combs, and 14 Ruth. This collection is in overall Very Good condition from the front with each card affixed to a matting. The collection represents an affordable group of sample cards from this fascinating set, highlighted by several of the greatest players of the 1920s, including Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.
