Presented is a collection of thirteen cards from the 1912 Zeenut PCL series, all graded and encapsulated by SGC. The 1912 Zeenut set is composed of players from six different teams (Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Vernon). This is a high-quality group offering ideal samples from this popular Pacific Coast League series. Two cards have the "Save Zeenut Pictures For valuable premiums" advertisement printed on the back. The collection consists of the following: GOOD 30 (10 cards): Castleton, Coy, Hetling (glove open), Hosp, Malarkey, McDonald, Parkins, Pope, and Toner. FAIR 20 (2 cards): Bohen and Nagle. POOR 10 (1 card): Doane. Authentic (1 card): Page. As is usually the case with Zeenuts, most of the cards have a far superior appearance than suggested by their technically accurate modest grades. This "comes with the territory" with Zeenuts. Total: 13 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+.
