Graded POOR 10 by SGC. Extremely attractive example of legendary Hall of Famer Cap Anson from the colorful 1888 N162 Goodwin Champions set. Anson is the key card from this very popular fifty-card set issued by Old Judge and Gypsy Queen Cigarettes. This example is bright and crisp, with flawless colors and perfect registration. The corners display even wear, and the card is centered a hint to the right. Downgraded from Vg-Ex due to several areas of paper loss on the reverse from album removal. This card presents a great opportunity to acquire an extremely attractive example of one of the most classic of all nineteenth-century baseball cards, at a far more affordable level than what a technically higher graded example with the same appearance would cost. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
