Presented is a trio of very scarce 1910-era sample cards, each graded and encapsulated by SGC (submitted by REA). 1) 1911-1916 T216 Mino Cigarettes Fred Jacklitsch: Baltimore Federal League. SGC Authentic due to a slight trim to the top and bottom edges, otherwise Ex-Mt. 2) 1911-1916 T216 Virginia Extra Bill O'Hara: Thin paper variety. POOR 10 due to creasing and a spot of paper loss on the reverse. 3) 1911-1916 T216 Virginia Extra Johnny Seigle: Thin paper variety. POOR 10 due to creasing, a small tear, and paper loss on the reverse. Each card is extremely presentable, with bold reverse advertisements, an ideal quality for any sample-card. Each of these cards is from a very scarce and desirable set. The T216 set was produced by the People's Tobacco Co. of New Orleans and was regionally issued only in the Louisiana area. Cards from this set feature advertising from three People's Tobacco Co. brands: Kotton, Mino, and Virginia Extra, of which two of the three backs are included in this lot. This outstanding trio of sample cards from two very rare sets would make an outstanding addition to any prewar or sample-card collection. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
