Kimballs are considered by many to be one of the most beautiful of all of the nineteenth-century tobacco issues. The set features champions and stars of the day from a wide variety of sports. Although the baseball players featured in the set are not Hall of Famers, each was a very popular star. Although in mixed grade, this is still a very pleasing and rarely offered partial set of of N184 Kimball "Champions," one of the most highly regarded and classic of all nineteenth-century tobacco issues. Total: 26 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
