Graded VG 40 by SGC. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher. Extremely attractive Kalamazoo Bats tobacco card of Philadelphia Athletics pitcher Bobby Mathews. Kalamazoo Bats are revered for their great rarity, unusual size, and unique design. This is an ideal example with excellent contrast and detail. The card has an overall Excellent appearance, with four strong corners and excellent centering. The blank reverse has some toning and a few indentations.
