Collection of twelve different cards from the T206 White Borders series, highlighted by Hall of Famer Eddie Collins (printing anomaly, name on top and bottom), three scarce team variations, and one Southern Leaguer. All the cards are professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA (except for three SGC as noted). Ten cards have Piedmont reverses, one Polar Bear, and one Sweet Caporal. This collection consists of the following: G. Brown/Chicago (SGC GOOD+ 35), G. Brown/Washington (SGC EX 60), Coles (Southern Leaguer, VG-EX+ 4.5), E. Collins (HOF, VG-EX 4 [MC], name on top and bottom), Groom (VG-EX 4, Polar Bear), Jones/hands at hips (VG-EX+ 4.5), Kleinow/Boston (VG 3), Lundgren/Chicago (GOOD 2), McIntyre/Brooklyn (PSA Authentic), Nichols/batting (VG-EX+ 4.5), Ritchey (SGC EX/MT+ 82), and Rucker/throwing (VG-EX+ 4.5, Sweet Caporal). This is a very attractive collection of twelve different cards, each with far better appeal than their assigned grades might suggest. The total SMR value in the assigned grades is $1,852 (not including the one qualified card and the one Authentic card, and factoring in the six half-grades at the lower whole-grade level). Total: 12 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
