Presented is a collection of forty different cards from the classic T206 White Border series, composed exclusively of cards featuring a desirable Sovereign advertising reverse. Each card is graded and encapsulated VG/EX 50 by SGC (except for one VG/EX+ 55 and one graded by PSA as noted). Sovereign is a scarce back, not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but very unusual and seen far less often the standard Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising backs. This collection consists of the following: Atz, Bell/hands above head, Bescher/portrait, Burns, Carrigan, Casey, Criger, Devlin, Donlin/seated, Donohue, Dooin, Dougherty/portrait, Dubuc, Flanagan, Hahn, Hallman, Howell/hands at waist, Jones/St. Louis, Kleinow/bat, Kling, Konetchy/glove above head, Krause/pitching, Kruger, Latham, Livingstone, Magee/portrait, Milligan, Moran/Providence, Mullin/bat, Oldring/fielding, Paskert, Schulte/back view, Shipke, Slagle, Smith/white cap (SGC VG/EX+ 55), Spade, Spencer, Steinfeldt/portrait, White/pitching, and White/Buffalo (PSA VG-EX 4). This is a very attractive and desirable collection of forty cards featuring a Sovereign advertising reverse. The equivalent SMR value in the assigned grades is $2,945 (factoring the half-grade at the lower whole-grade level) without any premium assigned to the unusual Sovereign advertising backs. Total: 40 cards.

Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
