Six exceptional high-grade T206 White Border tobacco cards, each graded NM 84 by SGC: 1) Ed Abbaticchio/blue sleeves (Pittsburgh Pirates), 2) Neal Ball (New York Highlanders, 3) Howie Camnitz/arms folded (Pittsburgh Pirates), 4) Patsy Dougherty/glove in air (Chicago White Sox), 5) Harry Howell/portrait (St. Louis Browns), and 6) Charlie Starr (Boston Red Sox). All cards have a Sweet Caporal reverse, except for one Piedmont (Howell). This is a beautiful collection of six cards in extremely high grade from the most popular tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era. These six examples each display four strong corners, flawless registration, extremely strong colors, and outstanding centering. Each of these cards is a crisp, fresh gem, worthy of inclusion in any ultra high-grade T206 collection or set. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grades is $3,600. Total: 6 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
