Addendum (4/17/17, 3:05 PM): Please note the printed catalog description mistakenly list Eddie Collins as included this lot. Collection of seven different 1914 E145 Cracker Jack cards. Each card is graded and encapsulated by PSA (three) or SGC (four). The 1914 #144 series Cracker Jacks are far rarer than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 cards were not available by mail, and could only be obtained one card per package in boxes of Cracker Jacks. Because of their method of issue, 1914 Cracker Jacks are also almost always found with various condition problems including caramel staining. This collection consists of the following: #11 Stovall (PSA VG 3), 16 Camnitz (SGC VG/EX 50), 31 C. Wagner (SGC VG/EX 50), 33 Strunk (SGC EX 60), 34 Thomas (SGC VG/EX 50), 56 Milan (PSA VG 3), and 102 Fisher (PSA VG 3). All seven cards are bright and crisp, presenting far better than suggested by their technically accurate assigned grades. This is an exceptionally attractive mid-grade collection of 1914 Cracker Jacks. Total: 7 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+.
