Graded VG 40 by SGC. Offered is an E97 C. A. Briggs Company card of Joe Birmingham (Cleveland Indians) featuring a "Toy Town" stamp on the reverse. "Toy Town" stamps originate from a period children's game that included a stamper and are occasionally found on 1910-era cards. The stamp is one of the more popular ones with collectors. This card has a bold image set against an orange background, even wear on the corners, a light diagonal crease near the lower right corner, and outstanding centering. The stamp is very bold and a striking purple that really stands out on the clean reverse. This is a very attractive E97 sample card with an unusual and scarce "Toy Town" stamp. Reserve $200.
