The early 1960s British spy craze that started with 007 James Bond sparked the creation of the television series "The Saint" in England, starring Roger Moore, whose character bore a strong resemblance to the famous Bond. In 1966 a bubble-gum card set devoted to this popular series was issued in England by Somportex. Presented is a very rare full 72-count unopened wax box of this issue. The entire box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Mint cards. The store display box is bright and bold, with only a few minor touches of shelf wear. It otherwise presents exactly as it did on store shelves over fifty years ago! This is a very rare unopened box, one of only approximately five which surfaced many years ago.
