Original display box of 1966 Topps "Batman - Series B" cards, accompanied by twenty-four unopened wax packs. Each pack from the box has been individually graded and encapsulated by GAI: Fifteen packs grade MINT 9 and nine grade NM-MT+ 8.5. The box grades NM+ 7.5 by GAI and has light shelf wear. Batman took the world by storm in 1966 with the introduction of the wildly popular Batman television series. Topps joined the bandwagon with several series of card sets devoted to the Caped Crusader. This classic 44-card set, the third in the Batman series, features brilliantly illustrated scenes of Batman and Robin in action as they protect Gotham City. The set is often referred to as the "Blue Bat" series as a small blue Batman logo appears on the front of each card.
