Program from The Beatles' final tour of the United Kingdom in 1965, signed on the front cover by all four band members: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison. The signatures have been scripted in two slightly different shades of blue ink and grade "9/10" overall. The cover features a cartoon illustration of the band and each member has signed the program next to his respective image, with the exception of McCartney. The program is accompanied by a signed one-page handwritten letter of provenance, dated March 13, 2012, from the original recipient in which she details its history. In full: "To Whom It May Concern: I confirm that on Saturday 4th December 1965 I had a ticket for the Beatles show at Newcastle City Hall. My dad's uncle by marriage, Bob King, was at the time working for Arthur Howes. My grandma gave him my ticket number and he took me back stage to meet the Beatles. They signed the the autographs in front of me while watching television." The Beatles' final tour of the United Kingdom took place between December 3 and December 12, 1965. The group played two shows at each of the nine different venues, with the performance at Newcastle City Hall representing the second stop on the tour. The twelve-page program (10.5 x 7 inches) features photos and biographical information about The Beatles, as well as the eight other performers on the tour, including The Moody Blues. Moderate handling wear is displayed throughout, including a small diagonal crease in the lower right corner of the front cover. In Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from Tracks LTD, full LOA from Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication, and full LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open).
