Extraordinary ultra-high-grade complete 25-card set of 1939 John Player & Sons "Golf" cards. Each card features a famous golfer and a diagram of a particular golf shot that is being executed by the golfer. The reverse bears a brief summary of the golfer and the shot he is executing. This is currently the number-one finest set in the world on the PSA Registry! Each card has been graded and encapsulated by PSA. The set includes one GEM MINT 10, fifteen MINT 9s, five NM-MT+ 8.5s, three NM-MT 8s, and one EX-MT 6. The overall weighted GPA rating is 8.70. The PSA grades are as follows: One GEM MINT 10: #24. Fifteen MINT 9: #3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 Cotton (HOF), 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 22. Five NM-MT+ 8.5: #14, 17, 21, 23, and 25 (last card of set). Three NM-MT 8: #2 Allis (HOF), 5, and 13.
