Graded FAIR 20 by SGC. An extremely presentable example of the very first football card from this very popular and colorful set of fifty Goodwin Champions, issued by Old Judge and Gypsy Queen. The card is accurately graded due to various small flaws but is still very attractive, bright and crisp, with brilliant colors. The card displays light wear to the corners, and two tiny chips of paper loss are also present on the front (one near his left eye and one on the ball he is holding). A small area of paper loss and glue residue are both visible on the reverse. This is a very sharp-looking example of one of the most important cards in its respective set and one of the most famous football cards of the era.
