Heavy-duty warm-up jacket issued by the Boston Red Sox, circa 1950s. The navy wool jacket features a multicolor red/navy/white trim along the collar, cuffs, and waist. A large Boston Red Sox logo patch, consisting of two red socks with white accents, appears on the left breast. A "Tim McAuliffe" label is located on the interior of the right side pocket, while a "42" size tag appears on the interior of the left side pocket. All of the original seven navy buttons remain firmly attached. One of the interesting aspects of this jacket is that it is reversible and can be worn displaying the beige interior lining with red buttons. The jacket displays only light wear and remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
