Not much is known about this "Yankees" black-felt pennant, other than it originates from Cuba and is the first example we have ever seen. The manufacturer's label on the reverse reads "Montero Sport/Bernaza 107-Habana/Hecho en Cuba." The team name "Yankees" has been appliqued in white felt letters, as opposed to the more commonly used paint, which means it was more costly to produce than an average pennant. The pennant (24 inches in length) is complete with tassels and displays 5 tiny insect holes, as well as a few tiny edge tears; otherwise it is in Excellent to Mint condition. Reserve $200.
