Graded EX/MT+ 82 by SGC. The only example graded at this level with none higher! This is an ideal high-grade sample card of Paddy O'Connor from the 25-card 1910 D322 Tip Top Bread set issued by the Ward-Mackey Company. This is a very high grade for a D322 sample. Of the 550 D322 Tips Top Bread cards in total graded to date by SGC, only two examples of any player grade EX/MT+ 82, and only five examples of any player grade higher (all SGC NM 84). This very scarce set was regionally issued in the Pittsburgh area, and features only members of the Pirates, the World Series champions of the previous year. The reverse has advertising for Tip Top Bread, and provides a complete checklist for the set. Bright and crisp, both front and back, with four strong corners, a perfect image, and near-perfect centering. This is an extraordinarily crisp, clean card, and for this issue a particularly high-grade sample card of this scarce prewar food issue. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
