This circa "N. Y. Champions" wooden chocolate box features a colorful baseball scene on the interior label. The illustration portrays both a uniformed batter and fielder, with the words "Penny" and "Sweet" displayed, respectively, to the left and right. The remaining text reads "N. Y. Champions Chocolates Can't Be Knocked Out." The exterior label, on the front side panel reads "The New York Champions - Penny Sweet - Chocolates." The interior label displays a number of small tears, none of which significantly affect the illustration or text, while the exterior label is heavily stained. The box (9.25 x 7 x 2.5 inches) displays moderate-to-heavy wear, including a few large cracks along the base. In Very Good condition overall.
