Pair of early decorative baseball pieces. The first is a metal napkin holder, the design of which features a baseball (on top of the holder), two crossed bats (one either side of the holder), and a catcher's mask (hanging from the top of the two bats). The holder (6 inches high) displays moderate tarnishing and is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition. The second piece, which is more unusual in its design, is comprised of a "Kansas City" pin (pin back removed), a red-and-white ribbon, and a heavy metallic baseball figural piece. The figural piece, which hangs from the ribbon, is comprised of two crossed bats and seven connected baseballs spanning the gap between the two barrels. The piece, the function of which is unknown (it is two heavy to have been worn on a lapel), displays heavy tarnishing to the figural piece and is otherwise in Excellent condition overall. Twelve inches long (from the top of the pin to the base of the figural piece. Total: 2 items: napkin holder and figural piece. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
