Collection of 26 single-signed balls, each signed by a Hall of Fame player. Unless otherwise noted, each ball is either an official National or American ball (dating from the 1980s or later) and has been signed in blue ink across the sweet spot. The number of signed balls for each player, if more than one, is noted in parenthesis. The collection is composed of the following: Banks, Boggs, Brock, Carlton, DiMaggio, Feller, Fingers (Major League [Selig] ball), Hunter, Kaline, Killebrew, Marichal, McCovey, Murray (on the side panel of an official 1985 All-Star Game ball), Palmer, Perry, Ripken, Roberts, F. Robinson, Ryan, Schmidt, Schoendienst, Smith, Snider (2 examples, one on a Major League [Selig] ball), Spahn, and Stargell. All of the signatures are boldly scripted, grading "9" or "10," with the exception of Robinson ("5") and Smith ("7"). All of the balls display varying degrees of age toning (most display scattered toning) and are otherwise in Near Mint condition. Total: 26 balls. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. Pre certified by Steve Grad and Brian Sobrero/Beckett Authentication. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
