Pair of autographed items commemorating the New York Mets' 1969 World Championship season. 1) Complete issue of the October 17, 1969, New York Daily News newspaper featuring the Mets' championship on both the front and back covers. It has been signed on the back cover in either blue Sharpie or blue ink, by 42 World Series participants (Mets and Orioles), including Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan, Yogi Berra (coach), Earl Weaver (Mgr.), Jim Palmer, Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Tug McGraw, Rube Walker (coach), Dave Johnson, Tommy Agee, Don Clendenon, Jerry Kooseman, Cal Koonce, Boog Powell, Ed Kranepool, Ed Charles, Art Shamsky, Jerry Grote, Ron Swoboda, Al Weis, Paul Blair, Dick Hall, Gary Gentry, Duffy Dyer, J. C. Martin, Rod Gaspar, Ron Taylor, Wayne Garrett, Joe Pignatano (coach), Mike Cuellar, Jim McAndrew, Merv Rettenmund, Ed Yost (coach), Cleon Jones, Clay Dalrymple, Jack DiLauro, and Don Cardwell. All of the signatures have been boldly scripted and grade "10." The newspaper (11 x 15 inches) is toned and displays a number of moderate edge tears to the covers and pages. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Accompanied by a full LOA from James Spence/JSA. 2) 1969 New York Mets Team-Signed Reunion Ball. The official National League (Feeney) ball has been signed, in a variety of inks, by 26 members of the 1969 Mets, including Seaver (sweet spot), Ryan, McGraw, McAndrew, Cardwell, Kranepool, DiLauro, Gentry, Dyer, Grote, Koonce, Weis, Shamsky, Garrett, Charles, Gaspar, Agee, Taylor, Koosman, Swoboda, Clendenon, Jones, and Martin. The signatures are all boldly scripted and grade "9" or "10." Excellent to Mint condition. Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA (with corresponding PSA/DNA label affixed to the ball).
