Official National League (Giles) ball signed in blue ink by the following seventeen members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers: Robinson, Campanella, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Koufax, Hodges, Labine, Kellert, Newcombe, Erskine, Howell, Bessent, Walker, Furillo, Shuba, Spooner, Gilliam, and Craig, The signatures of Reese, Snider, Roebuck, Meyer, Hoak, Amoros, and Loes have been deemed clubhouse examples by JSA and Beckett Authentication. There is an illegible handwritten notation above Alston's signature on the sweet spot that appears to have been written by the original owner. Signatures range from "6" to "9," averaging "7/8." The ball remains in Excellent to Mint condition. This is an attractive mid-to-high grade Dodgers team-signed ball dating from the club's one and only World Championship season while in Brooklyn.
