One-page player-transfer agreement between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Boston Red Sox, dated December 11, 1941, signed by Hall of Famers Larry MacPhail and Eddie Collins. The agreement documents the assignment of pitcher Mace Brown's contract from Brooklyn to Boston in exchange for $6,500. It has been signed along the base by Brooklyn president Larry MacPhail and Boston president Eddie Collins. Both signatures are scripted in black fountain pen and grade "9." The document (8.5 x 11 inches), which is printed on onion skin, displays two horizontal folds and is in Excellent condition. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
