Presented is a very attractive pair of original unopened wax boxes of 1979 O-Pee-Chee baseball cards. Each box houses thirty-six unopened wax packs. The 1979 O-Pee-Chee set includes many Hall of Famers and stars, including the rookie card of Ozzie Smith. The boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within these boxes are Mint cards. The display boxes have survived in outstanding condition with bright colors and minimal shelf wear visible. This is a very attractive pair of original unopened wax boxes, which would make great additions to any unopened wax box collection. Total: 2 boxes. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000.
