Fascinating 24-card uncut sheet produced by Topps in 1989 featuring Wall Street professionals dressed in New York Mets and New York Yankees uniforms. Throughout the years, Topps has produced a number of vanity cards for players, collectors, and celebrities as well as for use in movies and at conventions. This is the only set of which we are aware that exceeds more than a handful of cards. Modeled after the standard Topps baseball-card design for 1989, the fronts feature an image of the "player," his or her name at the bottom, and team designations for either the "Blowouts" or the "Greenshoes." The reverse of the sheet is fully printed, with each card numbered "1." The name and nickname of the individual depicted is listed at top, with biographical information underneath, including height, weight, birthday, hobbies, and a short comment. The entire sheet measures approximately 16.5 x 16 inches and is in overall Near Mint condition. This is an extremely interesting uncut sheet that is undoubtedly missing from even the most advanced Topps collections. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
