Stunning high-grade collection of five different 1910-1911 M116 Sporting Life cards, including one blue background variety, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. All are crisp and clean, miraculously preserved, looking today as they did when issued. The collection is composed of the following: Bemis (EX-MT 6), Jordan (blue background, EX-MT 6), McAleer (NM+ 7.5), Paskert (NM 7, "300 Subjects" back), and Titus (NM 7, "300 Subjects" back). Many collectors consider M116 to represent one of the era's most exceptional values. In terms of the number of players featured, M116 is the second most substantial set of the 1910 era featuring Major Leaguers, trailing only T206. Despite being so similar in design to their T206 counterparts, M116s in general are actually far rarer. This collection would provide instant upgrades to virtually any M116 set. Total: 5 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
