Extremely high-grade 1964 Bazooka complete set in panels. The Hall of Famers featured in this set are Mickey Mantle, Roberto Clemente, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, Al Kaline, Warren Spahn, Harmon Killebrew, Willie McCovey, B. Robinson, Frank Robinson, Billy Williams, and Carl Yastrzemski. This is an incredibly sharp-looking set! Condition: #1-3 Mantle (Ex-Mt), 4-6 Spahn (Nr/Mt), 7-9 Killebrew/Aaron (Nr/Mt), 10-12 Mays (Nr/Mt+), 13-15 Clemente (Nr/Mt), 16-18 Yastrzemski/Williams (Ex-Mt), 19-21 McCovey (Nr/Mt+), 22-24 Fregosi (Nr/Mt+), 25-27 Hinton (Ex-Mt), 28-30 B. Robinson (Nr/Mt), 31-33 F. Robinson/Koufax (Nr/Mt), 34-36 Kaline (Nr/Mt). All panels have been cut neatly and well outside the dotted lines. Upon close inspection, there is faint evidence that some of the panels may have been stored under mounting corners at one time. If carefully cut into singles, most cards could potentially grade Mint or better. This is an extremely impressive, flawlessly clean ultra-high-grade set of these unusual, scarce, and underrated Bazooka Bubble Gum package-design cards. Bazooka panels rarely receive numerical grades because they are hand-cut (issued one three-card panel per Bazooka gum box) and the cut must be perfect and include the dotted lines to qualify, as seen throughout this set. This is a virtually perfect set, by far the finest we have ever seen, let alone offered. Total: 12 Bazooka panels (three cards per panel for a total of 36 cards) representing a complete uncut three-card panel set. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++.
