Extremely attractive original one-cent display box from the 1957 Topps baseball series, which originally housed 120 penny packs of this popular issue. Brilliant red and yellow design, featuring a blue-and-white ballplayer on the top panel and "Topps Baseball Bubble Gum" on four panels. The back side panel features a selection of available prizes. Presenting as Excellent overall, the box retains its stunning original bright colors and displays very light shelf wear at the corners and along the bottom edges. The box has a couple creases on the top panel, which are so common to display boxes from this era. The box has been shrink-wrapped and appears exactly as it did on store shelves sixty years ago. A superb companion piece to any complete 1957 Topps set or addition to any advertising or display collection. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
