Graded NM 7 by PSA. Very attractive high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is the second most valuable card in that year's set, only surpassed by Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners showing just the slightest hint of wear, perfect registration, and centered slightly to the bottom (65/35). The few extremely light printing specs in the yellow background, which are typical of this card, are mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. This is a perfect example of an extremely noteworthy modern classic that with patience is possible to find in extremely high grade without spending a fortune. Sandy Koufax's rookie card will always be one of the most famous and popular cards of the 1950s. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
