1952 Topps are extremely rare to find in uncut sheets, far more so than virtually any card issue of the era. No full 100-card production sheets are known to exist, though many years ago a small number (fewer than ten) of sheet quadrants were discovered (25-card sheet sections, each representing one-quarter of what is believed to be a full production sheet). Presented is a very rarely offered uncut production sheet of twenty-five cards from the 1952 Topps series. The sheet includes the following cards: #36 Hodges, 37 Snider, 38, 39, 40, 56, 57 Lopat, 58, 59 Roberts, 60, 66 Roe (2), 67 Reynolds (2), 68 (2), 69 (2), 70 (2), 76 Stanky, 77, 78, 79 Staley and 80 Wehmeier. Various minor imperfections include two one-inch tears (one on the left border, one on the right), some minor surface abrasions, and some minor fading, but the sheet still has a very impressive overall Vg-Ex appearance. The reverse is virtually flawless with just a small tape mark in each corner (very small surface paper loss in lower left). This is one of only several 1952 Topps sheets we have ever seen! The sheet measures 13.25 x 19.5 inches, and is beautifully framed (with double-sided Plexiglas to allow viewing of the reverse) to total dimensions of 22 x 28 inches. Reserve $1,000.
