Two key 1948-1949 Leaf gum cards—Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams—each graded by PSA: #1 DiMaggio is graded VG-EX 4 (bright and clean example with the picture registration slightly off and centered to the bottom right) and #76 Williams is graded GOOD 2 (bright, crisp card with excellent centering and flawless picture quality). The Williams has the appearance of Ex+ from the front, but is downgraded for a heavy surface crease on the reverse which has been flattened). Sometimes attractive examples of all-time classics don't have to break the bank! These cards are exceptional for the collector who wants original Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams cards, but is not interested in spending the many thousands (or even tens of thousands!) of dollars which examples in a significantly higher grade would require. Two tremendous mid-grade examples of these key 1948-1949 Leaf cards. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
