Collection of three cards, including two Hall of Famers, from the 1933 R300 George C. Miller & Co. set, one of the most unusual and rare issues of the 1930s, and one of the most artistically unique sets of any era. Each of the cards in this group were canceled by having the lower third of the card clipped, so that the same card could not be used a second time to redeem another valuable prize. The collection consists of the following: Earl Averill (HOF, canceled, otherwise Vg-Ex), Walter Berger (canceled, otherwise Vg), and Mel Ott (HOF, canceled, otherwise Vg). Though modest in terms of technical grades, this is a solid representation of cards from one of the rarest and most artistically stunning sets ever issued. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $200.
