One of Ty Cobb's most striking and sought-after cards, from one of the most popular sets of the 1930s. Graded VG 40 by SGC, this example is bright and clean, both front and back, with a crisp, perfectly registered image of Cobb. The card displays even wear to the corners, a crease in the upper right corner, and outstanding centering. The R328 U.S. Caramel is one of Cobb’s most elusive cards, and just like his 1933 Sport Kings card, it was issued after his Hall of Fame career. This is a very presentable yet still relatively affordable example of this all-time classic Cobb card, with strong eye-appeal. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
