Outstanding trio of R328 U.S. Caramel cards, each professionally graded by PSA. The 1932 multisport set produced by U.S. Caramel is considerably rarer than Goudeys and most other 1930s sets, and has long been recognized as among the most desirable issues of the era. With their distinctive red backgrounds, they are also widely regarded as one of the most striking of all 1930s card issues. 1) #4 Bill Terry. Crisp and clean, with excellent centering, a bright red background, and light, even corner wear. 2) #13 Lloyd Waner. Bright and fresh, with bold colors, perfect centering, and strong corners. 3) #17 Simmons. Bright and clean, with outstanding centering and light, even corner wear. This is a very attractive trio of Hall of Famers from the scarce and desirable U.S. Caramel set. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
