Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! This is an ideal high-grade sample card of Ham Hyatt from the 25-card 1910 D322 Tip Top Bread set issued by the Ward-Mackey Company. This is an extremely high grade for a D322 sample. Of the 392 D322 Tip Top Bread cards in total graded to date by PSA, only thirteen examples of any player grade PSA EX-MT 6, and only eight examples of any player grade higher (three EX-MT+ 6.5 and five NM 7, none higher). This very scarce set was regionally issued in the Pittsburgh area, and features only members of the Pirates, the National League champions of the previous year. The reverse has advertising for Tip Top Bread, and provides a complete checklist for the set. Bright and crisp, both front and back, with four square corners, a striking image, and centering towards the top left. The reverse is perfectly clean. This is an extraordinarily crisp, clean card, and for this scarce prewar issue a particularly high-grade sample card. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
