Graded EX+ 70 by SGC (submitted by REA). Hands-at-chest pose. Extremely attractive high-grade T206 of Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson. Johnson, of course, is one of the key Hall of Famers in the T206 White Borders set, which is universally recognized as one of the most substantial and beautiful sets ever produced. This T206 of Walter Johnson is a gorgeous example. It is bright and clean, with a deep blue background and perfect registration. Centered slightly to the bottom with four sharp corners. Clean, boldly printed Piedmont advertising reverse. This is a superb example that shares many characteristics with cards graded Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt. This is an exceptional classic vintage card in an extremely desirable grade that would be a worthy addition to any high-grade T206, Walter Johnson, or Hall of Fame card collection. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+.
