Striking collection of eight cards from the T206 White Borders series consisting of six Hall of Famers and two "Black Sox" stars. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA (two) or SGC (six). All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal backs except for one Sovereign as noted. This collection consists of the following: Cicotte (Black Sox, SGC EX 60, Sovereign 350), Evers/with bat, Cubs on shirt (SGC VG/EX+ 55), Gandil (Black Sox, SGC EX 60), Lajoie/throwing (PSA EX 5), Marquard/hands at thighs (PSA EX 5), two Waddell/throwing (one SGC EX+ 70, and one SGC VG/EX+ 55), and Wheat (SGC EX+ 70). All are bright, crisp, and clean, with bold colors and strong corners. Each of these cards is worthy of inclusion in any classic Hall of Fame card or T206 collection. The total SMR value in the assigned grades (factoring in the four half-grades at the lower whole-grade level) is $3,000. Total: 8 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+.
