Collection of twelve different cards from the desirable T206 White Border Southern Leaguer subset, representing a quarter of the 48-card set. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated VG-EX 4 by PSA. The Southern Leaguers have always been appreciated for their scarcity and as a popular subset to the T206 series. They have also always been listed at a significant premium in relation to regular cards in the set. Seven cards have Piedmont advertising backs while five have Old Mill advertising backs (as noted). PSA Grading Composite: Bernhard - Nashville (Old Mill), Coles - Augusta, Guiheen - Portsmouth (Old Mill), Hickman - Mobile (Old Mill), Jordan - Atlanta, Lafitte - Macon, Lentz - Little Rock, McCauley - Portsmouth, Paige - Charleston (Old Mill), Rockenfeld - Montgomery (Old Mill), S. Smith - Atlanta, and White - Houston. The scarcity of the Southern Leaguers has always made putting together a complete T206 set particularly difficult. This is a very attractive group of Southern Leaguers that will provide an outstanding foundation for the assembly of a complete subset. The SMR value in the assigned grades is $2,640. Total: 12 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
