Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Extraordinary ultra high-grade example of Hall of Famer Frank "Home Run" Baker (Philadelphia Athletics) with the rare Red Hindu Cigarettes advertisement on the back. Red Hindu backs are striking, unusual, and extremely rare. This is an extremely high grade T206 that would be noteworthy for even a Piedmont or Sweet Caporal common, but is extraordinary given that this is a Hall of Famer with a Red Hindu reverse. According to T206Resource.com, the Red Hindu back is the eighth toughest back (out of thirty-nine). Even a sample of a common player is tough to find, and examples featuring Hall of Famers are naturally rarer still, especially considering that the total checklist of confirmed T206 Red Hindu back examples to date is just forty-three different subjects. This is a remarkable card! Crisp and clean, both front and back, with brilliant colors, perfect registration, four sharp corners, and outstanding centering. The important Red Hindu advertising back is boldly printed and centered to the right. A tremendous example in unparalleled high grade of this T206 Hall of Famer with the desirable Red Hindu advertising reverse. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
