Collection of two Cleveland Indians pennants and World Series program dating from the club's 1948 World Championship, plus an additional pennant from the 1960s. 1) 1948 Cleveland Indians World Series Program. 9 x 12 inches. Not scored. Good, with vertical fold, numerous creases, and a few interior pages detached from the binding staples. 2) 1948 Cleveland Indians World Series pennant. Red felt with white lettering reading "Cleveland Indians World Series 1948." An illustration of an Indian chief and a scroll featuring the names of twenty-three Indians players are also displayed. 29 inches. Missing the two bottom tassels; otherwise Ex. 3) 1948 Cleveland Indians "World Champions" pennant. Green felt with white lettering. The design features illustrations of the team's Indian mascot wearing a crown and manager Lou Boudreau, along with a banner reading "World Champions." A scroll along the left side features the names of twenty-five team members. 27.5 inches. Good, with clipped tip, two missing tassels, and a number of small tears. 4) Circa 1960s Cleveland Indians pennant. Red felt with white lettering. 28.5 inches. Clipped tip; otherwise Ex.
