Pair of pennants issued during the 1947 World Series between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers. Each pennant is identical in design, with the exception of the team name and league designation. The red-felt Yankees pennant reads "Yankees American League Champs 1947," while the blue-felt Dodgers pennant reads "Dodgers National League Champs 1947." Both pennants (23.24 inches), which are complete with tassels, display tack holes and are otherwise in Near Mint condition. An outstanding pair of souvenirs dating from Jackie Robinson's historic first season and first World Series. Total: 2 pennants.
