Collection of six store-model player-endorsed bats manufactured by either Spalding, Wright & Ditson, or Zinn Beck. All of the bats appear to date between the years 1910 and 1930 and display moderate-to-heavy use. None of the bats are cracked. 1) Dave Bancroft. The center-brand stamping reads "Spalding Autograph," and features Bancroft's facsimile signature. Spalding logo on knob. 34 inches. 46.6 ounces. 2) Johnny Evers. Center-brand stamping reads "Wright & Ditson, Victor/JNO. EVERS/Model." Wright & Ditson label on knob. 34 inches. 33.8 ounces. 3) Harry Heilmann. The center-brand stamping reads "Zinn Beck Bat Co./Greenville S. Carolina/300." Stamped directly below in block letters is "Harry Heilman [sic] Type." The word "Professional" is stamped on the barrel. The bat's length, "36"," is stamped on the knob. 36 inches. 29 ounces. 4) Bill Kamm. Center-brand stamping features Spalding logo and "Autograph/Made In U.S.A./No. 200/Oil Temp." Kamm's facsimile signature is stamped on the barrel. Spalding logo on knob. 34.25 inches. 30.4 ounces. 5) "Walker." The center-brand stamping features the Spalding logo and "Selected Models/Made In U.S.A./No. 150N/Air Dried." The name "Walker" is stamped in block letters on the barrel. Spalding logo on knob. 35 inches. 38.6 ounces. 6) Jack Fournier. The center-brand stamping reads "Spalding Autograph," and features Fournier's facsimile signature. Spalding logo on knob. 35 inches. 39 ounces. Total: 6 bats. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+.
