Rare full ticket, for game number 73, issued by the Brooklyn Federal League Base Ball Club during the club's inaugural 1914 season. This ticket originates from the Brooklyn Federal League ticket book (containing four unused tickets) that is being offered elsewhere in this auction. As we noted in our description of the ticket book, this ticket, along with the other four, are the only Brooklyn Federal League tickets we have ever seen, making this an especially rare item relating to the short-lived "outlaw" league. Game number 73 for the Brooklyn Tip Tops took place on September 29 against the Chicago Chi-Feds. Unfortunately for Brooklyn fans, the Tip Tops lost the game 7-4. The ticket (4 x 2.25 inches) remains in Near Mint to Mint condition. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
