Graded VG/EX 50 by SGC (submitted by REA). Magnificent example of Frank Chance from the rare and highly regarded PC796 sepia postcard set issued in 1910. The manufacturer of this sepia-toned postcard series is unknown. The PC796 set is one of the most striking sets of the era. The card is bright and crisp, both front and back, with even corner wear, a few barely noticeable creases, and a light moisture stain in the upper right corner on the reverse. The card has never been mailed and has no writing on its traditional postcard reverse. This is an exceptionally rare and impressive card of one of the era's most legendary stars. Dimensions: 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
