Graded GOOD 30 by SGC (submitted by REA). Very attractive example of Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie from the rare and highly regarded PC796 sepia postcard set issued in 1910. The PC796 set is one of the most striking sets of the era. The manufacturer of this sepia-toned postcard series is unknown. This is an outstanding example of one of the most impressive cards ever issued of Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie. The offered card is bright and crisp, with four strong corners, no creases or wrinkles, and centering a hint to the right. Downgraded by SGC due to evidence of pencil erasure marks on the reverse (it appears the card was originally addressed on the back). This card would make a significant addition to any Nap Lajoie, Hall of Famer, or prewar-card collection. Dimensions: 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
