Collection of three different 1910 Morton's Pennant Winner Bread Tigers Pins: George Mullin, Marty McIntyre, and Jimmy Archer. All are complete with their original Whitehead & Hoag paper backings. There are sixteen pins in the set, each featuring a portrait of a member of the 1909 Detroit Tigers. This colorful set, which has always been appreciated both for its rarity and striking design, features the same players' portraits used on the Morton's Buster Brown Bread series. Morton's Buster Brown and Pennant Winner bread pins have long been recognized as two of the rarest and most desirable advertising pin sets of the era. The Archer pin has been graded NM 7 by PSA. The Mullin pin has a small tear to the paper backing; otherwise both it and the McIntyre pin grade Near Mint as well. Diameter: 1.25 inches each. Total: 3 pins. From the Dan Gantt Collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500++.
